Physical Education is an exciting, fun, productive, skill based class that allows an appropriate release of energy. In order for your child to be successful in this class, please be sure the items below are followed for every class.
Safety is our #1 priority, please keep that in mind!
*If your child gets injured and visits the doctors, please be sure to bring a doctors note if your child is unable to participate.
*A parent note will be accepted...
If the injury happened, but has not been able to see a doctor yet.
If your child has been ill the previous days, we can make changes so he or she is still able to do some of the activities.
As I always tell the students, "Lets get you healthy and strong again, then we can do everything!"

ShoesSneakers are mandatory in order for your child to participate in our activities.
Boots, sandals, Crocs and trends such as wedge sneakers, are not safe for your child or for others. If your child does not wear appropriate shoes, he or she will not be able to participate. |
ClothingThis is an active class, running, mountain climbers, push-ups, etc. Comfortable clothing such as sweatpants, shorts (dress code appropriate), and t-shirts are the best clothing options.
Dresses and skirts, even with shorts, are a safety concern and are not permitted. |
Grading Getting students involved and enjoying our activities is extremely important.
We have moved into standards based grading with a Meeting Expectations (ME), Making Progress (MP) or Limited Progress (LP) in the following areas... 1. Demonstrates competency in a variety of motor skill and movement patterns. 2. Applies knowledge and concepts, principles, strategies through active participation. 3. Exhibits responsible personal and social behaviors that respects self and others. 4. Demonstrates responsibility through classroom preparedness. |
